My husband played this course during our vacation at the Sandals resort next door, and it was absolutely stunning! The layout takes you through a variety of landscapes, featuring oceanfront views, arid cactus areas/rock formations and around the marina bay. It was definitely a challenging course. Be prepared to loose some balls in the water or in the cacti! The golf carts were nice, and the rental clubs were surprisingly good quality. The course was well-maintained, which added to the overall experience. Just a tip: bring your own drinks, as there are only a couple of water stations, and it can get quite hot. The green fee, club rental, and golf cart came to $145 for 9 holes, and I was able to ride along for free. Plus, we loved spotting the many iguanas on the course! Overall, it was a fantastic golfing experience!

I played the Old Quarry Golf course yesterday. Stunningly beautiful as it’s surrounding Tufelberg Mountain. Very challenging for average players as the course is narrow and unforgiving with natural landscape hazards like water and thick foliage (which you don’t want to go into to find a lost ball!!) on the margins of the holes. I’m an 18 handicap and shot 97 on the course that day. The terrain is very hilly and, as it’s right off the water, it’s very windy making accurate shots tough. The cost of a round was $225. It was a fun course to play but it takes adjusting to hitting low which decreases distance. I’ll be playing it again Thursday. The first tee box is literally behind one of the Sandals Resort restaurants. Getting to and from the Sandals resort was easy and staff available to get you back and forth. It’s only a 2 minute golf cart ride. Take water with you!!! Tough to find it on the course. No one riding around with refreshments or snacks. Signage somewhat confusing. Got lost on the way to the first and sixth tee box.

Worth every penny! Challenging course with stunning views of the ocean, Spanish Bay, and Mountains. You can see why it was named the best course in the Caribbean!

Despite stunning waterfront views on the first few holes, the course lacked amenities like beverage carts and water stations. Finding the driving range was difficult due to poor signage and an inconvenient location. Additionally, a broken water sprinkler on the 9th hole created an unexpected hazard. Overall, the experience fell short of expectations.

Played here 1/17/24. Was first tee time off, the course was in good shape, the greens rolled true and the fairways were plush. Tough course! Windy! The staff working the morning I played from the pro shop to the cart attendant were professional and friendly. Thanks so much for an experience that exceeded expectations.

Tremendous scenery and a trip through nature. A desert course that starts on the ocean. Tough green complexes and an odd grass on the greens that made it difficult to putt. For the price, the course was not in great condition but the environment and experience was excellent.

Played here today and what a fantastic course ! I have played different courses in the Caribbean and this is by far the best ! A challenging course but very enjoyable the course and especially the greens are in fantastic condition ! I personally only lost one ball here but there was the potential to lose many more if the wind is strong ! Great course and a great mornings golf ! Thank you

What a wonderful golf course to play 9 or 18 holes. It’s a bit out of the way but we’ll worth the ride and the green fees. The grass is green and well kept, the staff is friendly and will even give you some nice cold towels for the heat. The course meanders past the ocean, the quarry and the harbour giving you a great mix of all the area has to offer. (Side note: as of November 2021 the hotel that is part of the grounds is getting renovated so on first arrival it might look a bit shabby.)
