Warung Enak

The staff that consisted of all women were very nice and provided a good overview of the menu. The dish I had was good, an authentic Suriname dish. No major complaints and I would recommend.

We had roti here. Was not bad. Just regular. Somewhat dry.

This is one of my favorite restaurants on Earth. The food is great, and the ladies who run the place are wonderful. It's nothing fancy, but I felt like I was visiting a relative for a home-cooked meal every time I went.

No pics do it justice, hands down the most delicious food I've eaten in Curacao. Tourists can easily miss it as it's outside Pietermaai, but if you visit this island and don't come here you are losing out. We had coconut rice with coconut chicken, and gado gado. 10/10. Every bite had flavour. Service is good, and you have to wait too long for food. There's some outside seating, most people who buy do takeaway.

This is a great spot to grab lunch during the week or visit during the weekend with family. It's a perfect take away spot and have friendly staff. It's a nice family owned spot that's been around quite a while and still deliver good food and service to guests. For me easily the best place to grab Surinamese food on Curacao.

What an absolutely amazing dinner we had tonight at Warung Jawa. I’ve been looking forward to having Surinam food for weeks! The Pom was moist & delicious and the perfect consistency with succulent chunks of chicken. The red beans and rice better than anticipated. I make this myself really well so to be blown away by how good this was speaks volumes. The Lumpia was the best we had on the island! The shell was clearly home made and the filling was unbelievably. Wow doesn’t do it justice. The Bami & Nasi combo was perfectly prepared. Every morsel was gone. The chicken soup with a side of rice, another winner. We even took flan to go because we just didn’t have any more room to eat another bite there but knew it would be delicious. We are enjoying it now as I write this review. We enjoyed eating outside on their patio and the woman that owns the restaurant was super friendly. This will be the first place we come when we return to Curacao and highly recommend you try them too!
