The City Curaçao

We were very impressed with this restaurant! Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked. The cheese bread was great, and so was the fish of the day. Drinks were good as well! We were actually surprised there were few people here compared to the Iguana Cafe next door. I hope more people try this out and not just stick to their home palate!

Visiting from United States and loved it! Rushayne was amazing! I ordered the beef truffle pasta & it was great! The service is wonderful and the view while eating is even better. Definitely enjoyed it!!

This was our first visit to Curaçao and we were welcomed immediately by Rushayne and Romena. Both were excellent and friendly hosts. Our food was delicious and not overpriced for the location. The view of the bridge and the water were amazing.

My family if 7 got a lounge seating option right at waters edge. We range in age from 11 to 88. A tough crowd to please everyone. The first thing we were greeted with was an enthusiastic and charismatic server, Rushsyne. He was very kind calm and accommodating throughout the entire evening. This did not mean things moved slowly. We had good pace of the drinks, appetizers and the mains. Drinks were fresh and well crafted. The Mojito was particularly good with well muddled lime, fresh lime juice and very little sugar. Refreshing and tasty. Beef carpaccio was delicious from the starters menu. Highly recommend it. Mild and succulent meat with a nicely flavored mayonnaise and some baby sprouts. Moving to mains, the conch was tasty and interesting but I don’t have much to compare the conch as this was my first. The best main we ate was likely the “off menu” prawn Caesar (no anchovies). Well dressed and lots of yummy seasoned prawns. Honestly the very best part was the service from Rushsyne and the servers that support him. Super friendly, informative and engaging in a very genuine way. Thanks my good man.

Supharmy and the gentleman from Jamaica were outstanding. Menu was nice and staff was on point with suggestions. Scenery next to the bridge became an education. You hear the horn you know what’s happening.

Food. Views. Vibes. I loved this place! We started with the snack platter. Then we got the picanha with funchi fries and pasta carbonara. The food was well-seasoned and came out quickly. We sat right across from the Queen Emma Bridge and just chilled. I really like the vibe of this place. Our waiter—I think his name was Jean—was very attentive and helpful.
