Very much a tourist trap, built so that people can get off the cruise ship and into another bubble. The shops are nice (I guess) but super pricey, and it is very separated from the rest of the city and local life. Plenty of other good things to see and do in Curacao!

Beautiful area. The courtyard with the restaurants and shops became a favorite place, especially in the evenings - have dinner under the romantic lights and enjoy a gelato and a stroll afterwards!

If you like colorful, small shops, art and tiny villages then this is the place to be! On Sundays most shops are closed, but it does leave the place almost void of tourists and makes for good photo opportunities if you're into that. Definitely one of the highlights of Willemstad.

Great historic part with nicely renovated buildings turned into restaurants, shops and accommodation. We had dinner at Caleo and it was great we also had a nice walk the next day around the whole area and it was great

Cute area with colourful buildings, boutiques, restaurants, and gardens. Worth a visit to the Kura Hulanda museum to learn about the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade as well.
