Went there with my wife for dinner, food was great i especially loved the beef tartar, super wel balanced. The picanha had great flavour and my wife loved her prawns too. Only complaint i would have is that the mixed drinks i got were pretty weak. Lots of ice and after 2 i was still sober. Ordered a neat cognac aftward to feel something. Not a dealbreaker but a little dissapointing. Wil definitly visit again.

Bit of a strange experience. We went to this place because it's close to our accommodation and the food looked great on the pictures. The most important part: the food is indeed very nice. Good quality and nicely presented on the plate. The guys in the kitchen know what they are doing. However, overpriced in my opinion. The place was empty, and stayed pretty much empty during our stay between 7 and 9 in the evening. This meant the atmosphere was not that great. Staff made some small mistakes with the wine, but overall was friendly. Because the place being empty more often (I asked), some of the dishes and drinks on the menu were not available. This made us skip desert altogether. They should also clean and light up the parking area. This is really not acceptable for the price level. I think they can make this place work by lowering the price point of the dishes with roughly 10 to 15%, fix the parking lot and do some proper marketing. But I wouldn't be surprised either if this place is gone in 3 months from now. You can't run a restaurant with 2 paying customers a night, while having 7 staff members on schedule.

We were looking for a place to eat and stopped by Friends. Please note to park across the street by the super market Esperamos. When we entered we were engulfed in the aroma of a charcoal grill. It was a fragrant smell that was wonderful. Security escorted us throughout the restaurant giving us the option to choose where we wanted to sit. He was congenial and fun. A great intro to dinning. The server/bartender attended us. She was excellent (hard to find in Curacao). Happy Hour is 4:30 to 6:30 and well worth it with mixed drinks at 10 ANG per drink. We had the bread with herbed butter and chimichurri and the fried dumplings for our appetizer. The bread was slightly blacked enriching the flavor, but the best was the combining of the creamy herbed butter with the red onion chimichurri. A great flavor. The dumplings were fried. The flavor of the dumplings was unassuming. They were well prepared and made a gentle appetizer that didn't overpower the the entry. We both had the picana steak for our entree. The meat was succulent and full of flavor. We had it cooked medium. The fat from the steak was super rich and only added to the overall rich flavor. Dessert was the tiramisu and chocolate bomb with passion fruit gel. Both desserts were wonderful and delicately presented, but out the two the chocolate bomb was the better of the two. It was creamy and fluffy making us scrap the dish to get all off the plate. The atmosphere was relaxing with a gentle breeze that touches you all night. A great place. Highly recommended.

This was most curious restaurant that we "HAD" to try. Having 4 very experienced Dutch chefs, knowing their past success, was not disappointing. The security, bar tender, service with good knowledge of their wine list and most of all, the food in its perfection. How can an octopus be so tender? Simple salad was so perfect to its dressing, meat with good medium rare and the house made ice cream was nothing like I had before. Smooth and gelato texture. Don't remember when we left a place with only good comment. Best restaurant in the island.

A new place opened up next door so we decided to pay a visit.. For now it's just a soft opening. At first glance a nice place with a romantic ambience. Great location to chill with friends, family or colleagues. The staff is friendly, great service and waiting time is not long. Don't let the portion size fool you, because you will feel full afterwards. The food was outstanding. Only thing missing for me were peppers. I like a bit of spicy with my food.
