It is the most populated island and located just north of Venezuela.<\/p><h2>Relax or get busy<\/h2><p>Many tourists choose \u2013 and return to \u2013 Curacao for a well earned holiday retreat with its secure sunny weather. The good food, many optional activities offered and the friendly nature of both people living on Curacao and the visiting tourists make it an easy choice.<\/p><p>Unlike on some of the other Caribbean islands you will never be bored on Curacao. You will be relaxed for sure, but you will only not do anything by choice. The area <a href=\"https:\/\/staging.curacaotodo.com\/es\/areas\/willemstad\/otrobanda\/\">Otrobanda<\/a> on one side and Punda ond the other side of the Schottegat waterway combine two sides of the city. Both sides have their own atmosphere, history and different vibe.<\/p><p>Punda is famous for its Handelskade with the bright painted houses you will see on most postcards. Behind the Handelskade you\u2019ll find a shopping area where you can buy souvenirs, clothing, jewelry and much more.
